Hi, there, friend and welcome to My Life Diaries Blog. Before we start, I want to ask you one question. Have you ever heard about fusion? I bet you did and it was in the context of fusion cuisine. Well, just like fusion cuisine combines elements of culinary traditions of different countries and regions, the same is with my blog – it basically combines the fusion of my life, therefore, My Life Diaries.
You see, I don’t just want to cover one topic and develop in only one direction. It is kind of a little bit boring, to be very honest. I wanna to talk about a bit of everything – my life experience as an expat in Germany and share my knowledge with fellow expats, I wanna tell you about my profession of marketing and my journey on the road of personal development, my passions for photography and travelling. Do you think you can handle that? Then, my friend, I welcome you on board of my Life Fusion Express!
So, first of all, let’s get to know each other! My name is Iana, I am 27 years old, a recent graduate in International Business and Economics. I have moved to Germany from Ukraine back in October 2014 to pursue my Master’s degree at Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences. Since then I have studied, worked and traveled all over Germany and Europe. I have discovered my passion for photography and found true calling and my dream job as marketing manager. My journey consisted of great learning experiences: language, people, culture, history, peculiarities and difficulties of being expat in Germany and so much more. This journey shaped my vision of life and made me who I am right now.
You might ask why exactly after 6 years of living here I decided to start my own blog? Well, that is very good question. Recent events, and of course I mean Corona virus outbreak made me rethinks and re-evaluate many things in my life. How precious life can be and how quickly things can change: how we took for granted such common things as meeting friends, going out to a restaurant or simply visiting your parents back at home. How quickly you can go from having everything to simply loosing it. Therefore, I decided not to waste a single minute and finally fulfill my dream of having my own blog and sharing my thoughts with you.
So, now let’s talk a bit about the Structure of this Blog and what should you expect in it. Basically, here I will be covering following topics:
- Expat Diaries – I will share with you my every day experience of living in Germany, will tell you all about this beautiful country, its culture, traditions, including very hot expat topics like searching for an internship, job, apartment, applying for residence permit etc.;
- Travel Diaries – well, the name says it all – here we will deep-dive into my traveling destinations and all the adventures I had there;
- Photography Diaries – last, but not least, my photography diaries where I will show the way I perceive the world through my cameras (mobile and DLS one).
Hop in! And let’s discover this beautiful world together, my friends!
Feel free to connect with me via social media: Facebook, Instagram, Vkontakte, Pinterest and LinkedIn. Like, subscribe, comment and share with your friends. I would be happy to hear back from you!
