It happened almost a year ago. I went to a doctor’s office with my folder full of previous diagnosises and test results. And, well, as expected with my ADHD and very good track record of keeping my documents in order (wink, wink), I lost it.
I was quite upset and kept thinking about it, as it meant that next time some doctor will ask for my test results, I will have to go through painful procedure of calling each and single doctor’s office and ask for those to be send to me again (which is painful and lengthy affair as for some of those you have to go to the office yourself and pick the files up).
Miraculously after few weeks I found a weird envelope in my postbox. It had no name, no address, literally nothing. And having opened it – to my biggest surprise – were all my documents. It was such a great joy, especially knowing that a person went out of the way to personally come to my house and bring all of those by!
So, whowever did it, thank you from the bottom of my heart! It might have been a small gesture for someone, but meant a great deal me 🙂
