What’s the longest book you’ve ever read?

Well, for me, that’s a no-brainer. 😄

So far, judging just by the number of pages in a single book, it’s definitely Stephen King’s “IT.” 📖 If you’ve read any of my previous posts, you might already know I’m a big fan of his — and of all his work. And of the horror genre in general, really, be it cinema or books.

And “IT” just works for me on all levels — well-written characters, the way the storyline moves between present and past, all those memories entangled and slowly unravelling as the book goes on. Creepy, spooky, creepy — just how I love it. 😈 Some descriptions and scenes just stay with you for so long, especially the fire scene in the “Black Spot.”

And yes, I’ve watched all parts of “IT,” as well as the latest, amazing “Welcome to Derry.” 🎬 I already can’t wait for the second season. It’s simply amazing — so, so well made, and nobody can prove me otherwise.

To be honest, back in school days I might have read something even longer — probably as part of our school curriculum. But, as expected, my brain successfully erased it from my memory. Or perhaps it just felt so much longer because, at the time, I had far more interesting things to do — Sims 3 and all the cheesy horror slasher movies. 🎮 Reading anything back then felt like an unbearable burden on my entire existence.

But that’s about to change — the “longest book I’ve read” title, I mean — because pretty soon I’ll be kicking things off with “The Stand,” which is even longer, and I honestly cannot wait. 🔥
