What’s the longest trip you’ve ever taken?

If you told me 10 years ago that my longest trip would be to India, I might have laughed out loud. 😂 If you told me that I would be having my wedding ceremony in India, I would have thought you were crazy.

And the reason for this is pretty simple — I am terrified of flying ✈️, have chronic hypochondria, and could have never imagined myself doing something like that.

Now, having it all behind me, I couldn’t be happier. Happier because I fought my fear (after some deliberate and long physical and mental preparation), because I got to see the most wonderful places and meet the most wonderful people, and of course, because I got to have the wedding of my dreams. 💍

So yes, I spent almost two months traveling around India with my husband, his father, and my mother — many times joined by his uncle, aunt, and cousin. We explored so many different places, saw the most incredible natural spots, and learned so much about the culture, the land, its people, and its customs. 🇮🇳

And brace yourself — there will be many dedicated posts about this trip, as I’m planning to turn it into a series, and I cannot wait to tell you all about it in detail. ✨

Meanwhile, here is a small glimpse of what will be waiting for you ahead.
